The idea of a war on men may seem a bit strange to some people. After all, the Democrats have warned of a war on women. However, the evidence reveals that there is a war on men. In spite of the fact that prostate cancer is diagnosed in men is similar to the rate of breast cancer diagnosis in women, the government gives over three times as much money as it gives to prostate cancer research to breast cancer research. The ACA ensures yearly domestic violence and breast cancer screenings for women. It does not ensure that men can receive yearly domestic violence or prostate cancer screenings. Male defendants receive far harsher sentences than female defendants. The sentencing gap between the sexes is even bigger than the sentencing gap between black and white defendants. Many of the males imprisoned by our government have also been found to be innocent. The state also ignores male victims of domestic violence. In spite of the fact that women beat their partners about as frequently as men beat theirs, many state funded domestic violence shelters refuse to protect male victims. The state further refuses to punish abusive women. Men further have no reproductive rights under US law. Males have even been forced to pay child support to the women who raped them or for children they did not father. Fathers are routinely mistreated by the family courts. Most violent crime victims are male, and the state still uses males as human shields. The war on men is very real.
